Dr. Gretchen Anjomi

With well over two full decades of experience in the dental field so far, Dr. Anjomi is the clear choice for dedicated, high-quality care in the greater Newton community. More than anything, she loves building close, trusting relationships with each patient in her treatment chair, helping them achieve their smile-related dreams and enjoy a higher quality of life as a result! Dr. Marcus Cowan

Newton Corner Dental Care is excited to welcome another exceptional dentist to our team, Dr. Marcus Cowan! Since earning his dental doctorate from The Dental College of Georgia, he has completed more than 800 CE hours and earned his Fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (just a few of his many accomplishments). However, his genuine passion for helping others is equally as impressive, and he’s excited to help our patients on their journeys to their best smiles.

Katya - Office Manager

Originally from Odesa, Ukraine, Katya studied at Regis College to earn her undergraduate degree. She started as a front desk member at a multi-specialty office where she gained the core of her dentistry knowledge. She later transitioned to team leader and then to assistant dental manager, and she managed two dental practices before joining our team. With well over a decade of experience, she still loves forming relationships with patients and watching them grow confident about their smiles.

Away from the office, Katya’s husband, son, and close friends are her number one priority, and she always looks forward to enjoying time with them during outings or on a laid-back Sunday. Other than working in the dental field, she’s passionate about cooking as well as photography. She’s also trilingual, as she speaks fluent Russian, Ukrainian, and English, and she’s currently learning Portuguese!

Audrey - Administrative Coordinator

Originally from Ashburnham, MA, Audrey studied at Massachusetts College of Art and Design for her undergraduate degree. She later worked as an Administrative Coordinator at another dental office for 3 years before moving to our team at Newton Corner Dental Care. She loves being able to learn about the science behind oral health and how it can impact a person’s mouth and overall health. Other than the science and advancements in dentistry, it’s the incredible team and patients at our practice that keeps her motivated every day. At home, Audrey enjoys making things, having studied fine arts in college with a focus on painting. She also has an interest in ceramics, fiber arts, metalwork, knitting, and crocheting. Other than standard art, she enjoys cooking, baking, and reading fiction and psychological thrillers. Fun fact: she once climbed to the top of a volcano (Haleakal? in Maui) to watch the sunrise!

Mary - Front Office Patient Coordinator

Mary was born and raised right here in Massachusetts! So, she’s very excited to be helping her friends and neighbors have the positive dental experience they deserve. With roughly five years of experience in the world of dentistry, she joined our team in 2021. So far, her favorite part of her job is the friendly work environment. Outside the office, she likes spending time with her fiancé making dinner, watching TV, and playing video games. Here’s something you may not know about her: she’s very passionate about fashion! In fact, she loves dressing up and going to themed festivals and conventions.

Janet - Dental Hygienist

Janet graduated from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in 2010 with a Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene. Her caring nature becomes evident the moment patients meet her. She goes above and beyond to provide excellent care to patients and emphasizes a team approach between herself and her patients in order to help them reach their optimal oral health. She is very detailed oriented, which allows her to be very thorough when providing her professional dental prophylaxis procedures. Janet’s favorite part of her job is being able to see patients’ progress and improvement over time as well as developing a great relationship with them.

Outside of work, Janet and her husband are sponsoring a child through World Vision. She loves traveling, painting, as well as fine dining.

Meghan - Dental Hygienist

Meghan is originally from Plant City, Florida. Today, she is a Registered Dental Hygienist who has undergone additional training in local anesthesia, basic life support, and OSHA bloodborne pathogens. When asked, she shared one of her favorite aspects of her job is educating patients and seeing the difference it makes in their oral health – it’s so rewarding! In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, exploring new places in New England, and trying foods from different cultures.

Victoria - Dental Hygienist

Victoria is new to our team, but she already loves that her job allows her to help people feel more confident about their smiles! She’s always ready to provide the best care possible to new and returning patients alike.

At home, Victoria and her boyfriend Jordan have two dogs: Kona (a Pyrenees) and Oliver (a Beagle). Some of her favorite hobbies include hiking, kayaking, baking, and reading. She also LOVES to travel – in fact, she’s been to 16 national parks so far, with hopefully more to come!

Stephany - Certified Dental Assistant

For nearly a decade now, Stephany has spent her days serving those in her community as a Dental Assistant. Since she used to struggle with dental anxiety, she goes above and beyond to make each patient’s experience as calm and enjoyable as possible. Although she is originally from Cambridge-Boston, she attended dental school in Brazil! Since then, she has completed training in OHSA, CPR, and infection control. Away from the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband, singing, and playing guitar.

Janine - Certified Dental Assistant

With an impressive 15 years of experience under her belt, Janine joined our team in 2023. In addition to studying at the Everest Institute, she is certified in OSHA, CPR, CDC infection control, Zoom! Whitening, and several other treatments. Plus, she has extensive experience with Invisalign and SureSmile clear aligners! When she was asked what she loves most about her job, she said that it’s making a difference in people’s appearance and dental health. At home, she has two children (Santino and Gia Del Carmen) as well as a baby bunny, Bubba! When she isn’t at the office, you can find her spending time with her kids, doing hair, going to sporting events, and traveling.

Jean - Front Office Patient Coordinator

Jean earned an Associates Degree in Marketing and Management from DeKalb College in Dunwoody, Georgia in 1986. She received her Dental Assisting Diploma from The Bryman Education Center in Brookline, MA in 1980. Jean transitioned to Front Office Patient Coordinator in 1990 and has worked in both General and Specialty Dental Practices in the Boston area. Jean joined our dental office in June 2016. Jean enjoys gardening, reading and spending time with her children.
