Why Did You Want to
Become a Dentist?
When Dr. Anjomi was in college, she was a Political Science Major with a French Minor. In her junior year, she volunteered at the hospital ambulatory surgery and dental clinic. Eventually, she decided to limit her volunteering to the dental clinic only because of the intrigue she had about the many facets of dentistry as a whole – care, comfort, patient education, science, working with her hands, and the sense of accomplishment she had when completing treatments for patients in need. While she graduated with her original major/minor, she decided that she wanted to pursue a career in the dental field. While completing the science coursework and awaiting admission to dental school, she even became a dental assistant to learn more about the day-to-day work. It only cemented her decision even further, and the rest is history!
